Artist Statement
This work explores the sacred exchange of kindness through the simple yet profound act of giving water. Two hands—one offering, one receiving—are connected by flowing lines that symbolize the unseen energy present in acts of compassion. Light gives power to light, and in this moment of giving, the act itself becomes a conduit for divine presence.
Drawing from scripture, this piece reflects the encounter between Christ and the Samaritan woman at the well, as well as His teaching that even offering a cup of water to one of His own brings blessings. The gesture is small, yet its impact is eternal. Through this work, I seek to illuminate the power of generosity and the spiritual significance of even the simplest acts of love.
